ALPHARETTA, GA (August 13, 2010)- Len Garrison, a fitness and wellness expert and author with nearly 15 years of experience, has been named Director of Health and Wellness for Atlanta-based Jackson Healthcare.

Garrison, a certified fitness specialist who formerly served as Corporate Wellness Director for Toyota (South Region) and as Athletic Supervisor for the Atlanta Athletic Club, will be responsible for the operations of the Coliseum.  He will also work to expand the breadth and effectiveness of the nationally recognized Jackson Healthcare wellness program. He will be a resource to every individual in the company for personal wellness coaching.

Among Garrison's previous accomplishments is the development of a fitness consulting business called "Train with Len" (www.TrainwithLen.com). He also authored a book entitled Stop And Think, and is currently finishing a health and wellness book entitled 5 On 5. He has performed public & motivational speaking for over a decade, and has appeared on local and national TV programs inspiring people and teams of people to "live well". Len also has taught high school and college, conducted overseas mission trips, and developed programs for at risk youth.
