Jackson Healthcare
Named in Top Tier of Prestigious Inc. 5000
First-ever Inc. 5000 recognizes Alpharetta-based company for
outstanding growth, contribution to healthcare and success in a
troubled economy
ALPHARETTA, Ga., (February 11, 2008) - Jackson Healthcare has
been named to Inc. magazine's first-ever Inc. 5,000, a prestigious
ranking of the nation's fastest growing and most entrepreneurial
companies. Ranked 1,670 out of 5,000 companies, Jackson Healthcare
is honored to be included in the top thirty percent of this
prestigious list. The company was also recognized as one of the Top
100 Health Companies in the Inc. 5000, ranking number 87.
Factors contributing to Jackson Healthcare's high ranking are
its 215 percent annual growth between 2003 and 2006; its innovation
and dedication to improving healthcare; and numerous recent
accolades such as inclusion in the Atlanta Business Chronicle's
"Atlanta's Top 10 Fastest Growing Companies."
The Inc. 5,000 is an expansion of the longstanding Inc. 500,
which was introduced in 1982 to recognize the nation's fastest
growing, top entrepreneurial companies. The Inc. 5000 includes the
Inc. 500 but digs deeper to offer the most comprehensive look ever
at the entrepreneurial engine driving the U.S. economy. In
particular, companies that made the Inc. 5000 list continue to
thrive despite continued stagnation in the economy.
"It's rewarding to be recognized for our growth and contribution
to both healthcare and the economy - especially alongside so many
prestigious companies," states Jackson Healthcare's Executive Vice
President of Finance, Shane Jackson. "By addressing healthcare's
most pressing needs with innovative and practical solutions, we're
able to sustain rapid yet steady growth and are well-positioned for
another strong year."
Founded by healthcare pioneer Richard L. Jackson, Jackson

healthcare today: finding the right people and delivering the right
information at the right time. JHS companies provide credentialed
clinicians, and also develop software applications that help
hospitals improve outcomes and increase operational efficiency.
With approximately 300 associates in Alpharetta, Ga., and 450
nationally, JHS serves more than three million patients in some
1,000 hospitals each year. With a 62-percent compound annual growth
rate between its founding in 2000 and year-end 2006, the company
ranked seventh on Atlanta Business Chronicle's "Pacesetters" list
of Atlanta's fastest-growing companies in April 2007. In September
2007 the Chronicle placed JHS eighth among medium-size companies on
its list of "Atlanta's Best Places to Work." Named to the Inc. 500
in 2004, the company placed among the top 100 healthcare companies
in the Inc 5000 list in 2007.
