Healthcare technology and staffing services company makes small
change in name to better reflect brand and corporate identity
Alpharetta, Ga., April 16, 2008 (PRWeb)- Today Jackson
Healthcare Solutions, a provider of healthcare technology and
staffing solutions, announced that it is changing its name to
Jackson Healthcare. Founded in 2000, Jackson Healthcare is the
parent company for nine companies that address healthcare
challenges such as physician and nurse staffing; operational
efficiency; and patient placement and throughput. In the past few
years, the strength of the parent company brand has grown as more
healthcare executives have seen the opportunity for using multiple
companies within the Jackson Healthcare family. The company sees
the name change as an opportunity to leverage this momentum and
build a nationally recognized brand in healthcare.
"Since naming the company Jackson Healthcare Solutions in 2003,
we've realized more synergies between the companies. The
opportunity for brand association of individual companies with the
parent company is becoming a competitive advantage in the
healthcare market, so we've changed our strategy to reflect this
advantage," says Executive Vice President Shane Jackson.
Jackson notes that while the company "certainly will continue
delivering solutions to our clients," the new name is shorter,
easier to remember and puts a greater emphasis on "healthcare" - a
key factor since the company's vision is to positively impact the
healthcare industry. The company also sees practical value in
changing the name. "Many people already shortened our company name
by dropping the word "solutions," states Jackson.
Jackson Healthcare has achieved more than 660% growth in recent
years, with a 53 percent compound annual growth rate between its
founding in 2000 and year-end 2007. The company broke its record
for revenue growth in 2007 while receiving a long list of
prestigious accolades such as ranking 7th on the "Pacesetters" list
of Atlanta's fastest-growing companies; 28th among Entrepreneur
Magazine's "Hot 500" fastest-growing businesses in America; and
1,670th in the first-ever "Inc. 5,000," a prestigious ranking that
builds upon the tradition of the "Inc. 500" but is more
in-depth.

Healthcare addresses the two biggest challenges facing healthcare
today: finding the right people and delivering the right
information at the right time. The Jackson Healthcare family of
companies provides credentialed clinicians and healthcare software
applications that help hospitals improve clinical and financial
outcomes as well as increase operational efficiency. Jackson
Healthcare serves more than three million patients in some 1,000
hospitals each year. The company employees approximately 350
associates in Alpharetta, Georgia, and 450 nationally. In September
2007 Atlanta Business Chronicle ranked the company eighth among 20
mid-sized companies making its list of "Atlanta's Best Places to
Work" based on responses to an independent employee satisfaction
survey. Jackson Healthcare ranked ninth among mid-sized companies
making the list in 2005.
