Lew Benedict has an extensive background in medical staffing and
consulting. He played a major role in growing a regional office
into one of the largest, most successful medical staffing
operations in the country. He joined Jackson Healthcare after
serving for many years there as Vice President of Sales and
Marketing. It was there that he learned the value of consistently
doing the right thing for the customer, because, "it always comes
back to you". Because he is passionate about serving others, Lew's
strength is in relationship development, which enables him to excel
in his professional role.
Since joining Jackson, Lew has utilized his business development
experience to help grow Premier Anesthesia, a Jackson-owned
national anesthesia management firm. While at Premier, by
leveraging his contacts and experience in the Northeast, Lew was
able to secure a partnership with one of the largest health systems
in the country. After gaining years of invaluable experience on the
practice management side of healthcare, Lew was asked by another
Jackson company, LocumTenens.com, to join their team as Vice
President of National Accounts.
In the last several years, the hospital and healthcare market
has continued to shift toward consolidation. In the process,
independent hospitals are increasingly becoming a part of larger
systems. This shift has created a need to become more attentive to
the needs of the larger systems as they continue to expand. Lew's
primary goal as VP of National Accounts for LocumTenens.com is to
ensure that - as the market transforms the size, shape, and
complexities of healthcare - the customer is not lost in the
process. LocumTenens.com is "obsessively" dedicated to its
customer's needs, and Lew takes great pride in being a part of the
team and the solution.
On a personal note, Lew's life philosophy is, "Serve others and
receive a life of fulfillment in return". He enjoys spending much
of his free time with his two young daughters. Lew is also an avid
athlete and outdoorsman.
