Mission H2O: Maji for Kenya was a program designed to help
provide safe, clean water to an African community. Roper St.
Francis Healthcare worked with the non-profit Water Missions
International and local employees, doctors and volunteers to
deliver a Living Water Treatment system to the Plateau Mission
Hospital in Kenya, the surrounding community, and its primary
school, serving an area of more than 3,000 people. As a result, the
Plateau Community now receives an average of 5,000 liters a day of
clean water for drinking, bathing, and cleaning from a sustainable
source - and the hospital has reported a dramatic decrease in the
rate of waterborne illnesses.
