
Steve Harper has been a user interface designer/programmer for
Care Logistics (formerly known as StatCom) since August 2008. Mr.
Harper began his career as a programmer for the U.S. Coast Guard in
1976, which led to a rewarding career as a software engineer. Steve
earned his Bachelor's Degree from State University of New York at
Albany in 1975, where he majored in Math and Minored in
English.
He earned Master's degrees in Teaching English as a Second
Language (University of Hawaii, 1983) and in Computer Science
(University of New York in Binghamton, 1987), and before joining
Care Logistics he worked for Universal Instruments, Bell + Howell,
IBM and ADP.
An Alpharetta resident since 1996, Mr. Harper enjoys being part
of the Jackson Healthcare team. His bike can often be found in the
bike rack at Jackson Healthcare - he frequently takes advantage of
the relaxing 6-mile bike commute to the company headquarters via
the Greenway. His proudest accomplishments are his 25 year marriage
to his wife Jenny, and his 2 sons who are both taller, smarter, and
much better looking than him.
