Jeannie Balcom is a Senior Account Executive for the Jackson
Healthcare Government Sales Division of LocumTenens.com. Mrs.
Balcom graduated from the University of Georgia, Terry College of
Business in May of 2004, and worked in the Sales/Financing Industry
for two years before deciding to pursue a career in the Healthcare
field. Her search led her to Jackson Healthcare, where the unique
corporate culture, opportunities for growth and strong leadership
convinced her that a career change would be worth the effort
involved with starting over.
She joined the Jackson team in April 2006 as a Research
Consultant, and accepted a promotion to become a Recruiter for the
Radiology Division later that year. In July 2007 she moved to the
Government Sales Division, where she helps establish contracts for
the DOD, VA, IHS, and State/County Hospitals nationwide. In 2009,
she was again promoted to Senior Account Executive in that
division. Mrs. Balcom also is a wife and a busy mom to a beautiful
young daughter (her pride and joy!). She enjoys volunteering,
fashion, and mission work; she is particularly excited about an
upcoming mission trip to the Dominican Republic. She also has a
passion for running - which was reignited by the Jackson Healthcare
Challenge - and recently completed her first half marathon. She
plans to complete her second in November.
