Alpharetta Elementary School is a special needs center for North Fulton County schools and is the system's oldest elementary school. Jackson Healthcare Charities is helping meet the school's wellness and safety needs by purchasing defibrillators and portable, two-way communication equipment for staff to use when taking students outside on school grounds. In addition to the financial contributions, the partnership provides volunteer opportunities for Jackson associates.

Established in 1996, Alpharetta PAL is a not-for-profit, community-based outreach organization that provides a variety of services to Alpharetta's youth, while establishing a bond of mutual respect, understanding and trust with the Alpharetta Police. With the primary mission of youth crime prevention, PAL provides an environment of leaders building leaders, by children mentoring their peers under the supervision of the Alpharetta Police Department. Jackson Healthcare Charities is proud to be the title sponsor of the annual PAL 5K run.

The Ark Family Counseling Center, Inc., (Ark-Rickey Homes) is an organization designed to provide alternative living services for youth referred from the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS). In addition to providing housing to children ages 6 to18-years-old, the program includes: extensive counseling, education, referral services, family support services and programs in positive behavior modification. The goal is to ensure children are provided with the necessary skills to fully participate in school and community activities, while making informed decisions for themselves.

Camp Twin Lakes is a not-for-profit organization that provides life-changing camp experiences to thousands of children with serious illnesses, disabilities and challenges. Each year, Camp Twin Lakes works with more than 40 special needs organizations to create customized programs that teach campers to overcome obstacles and grow in their confidence and capabilities. Camp Twin Lakes provides programs at numerous state-of-the-art facilities across the state of Georgia, including overnight camps in Rutledge, Ga. and Winder, Ga.

The Chinese Agape Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that provides support for terminally ill Chinese children in need of heart surgery. In addition, the Chinese Agape Foundation sponsors orphans in China and provides: bibles, food, clothing, school supplies and medical cost support. In collaboration with Peachtree City Church of Christ, Christian Care Centers are currently being built for orphans in China.

City of Refuge offers both life saving resources and life building tools to individuals and families in Atlanta who are living on the margin.  We understand the need for programs that span multiple areas of need - from food, clothing and shelter to job training, placement, housing, healthcare and education.  Our goal is to provide access to and information about the best possible opportunities for success to those who are willing to work hard for positive change.

FaithBridge Foster Care serves children and families impacted from the harmful effects of abuse, neglect and abandonment. By providing local churches with the resources needed to provide foster family capacity, stability and quality in local communities, FaithBridge is changing U.S. foster care. With its professional, hands-on approach to all aspects of the foster care experience, FaithBridge reduces the burden on foster families, biological families and local child protective services, while providing a stable loving environment for foster children. An independent, evangelical Christian organization, FaithBridge Foster Care is one of the philanthropic arms of the Jackson Family Foundation and has a strategic partnership and alliance with Jackson Healthcare

Faith, Hope Adoption, is a no-cost adoption information resources organization that exists to help prospective adoptive parents successfully navigate the often-complex adoption process. While Faith, Hope Adoption does not facilitate adoptions, it simplifies the process by providing the tools, education and support necessary to make the journey a success for adoptive parents. In addition, Faith, Hope Adoption builds public awareness about the facts and myths associated with adoption, by working with corporations and churches to educate their employees and members.

The Jackson Family Foundation Christian Care Center is currently home to more than 45 orphaned children, and is quickly growing toward its capacity of serving 120.  The new, state-of-the-art facility has 13 staff members and includes:  a full kitchen, dining area, tile floors, modern appliances, as well as separate dorms, where children are safe and have 24-hour care.  All funding and support for the Jackson Family Foundation Christian Care Center is provided by the Jackson Family Foundation, in association with Jackson Healthcare.

The Jackson Family Foundation Christian Care Center is located in Zigong China and marks the first in partnership with the Chinese Agape Foundation.  This is the seventh operated by the Chinese Agape Foundation.  The city of Zigong was selected due to the effects of the 2008 earthquake.  More than 70,000 died in the earthquake, leaving many children without any family members to provide care.

The Jackson Healthcare Matching Gift Program encourages associates to contribute to qualifying, notfor- profit organizations of their choice. The program offers associates the opportunity to double their donations, through cash or securities contributions to their favorite organization.

Hospital Charitable Service Awards, a new program sponsored by Jackson Healthcare, honors hospitals whose charitable commitment promotes health and wellness in the local and global hospital community. Our goal is to build a community around hospitals setting new standards in their charitable community outreach efforts; hospitals that offer positive stories that capture the spirit of true care.

kidz2leaders, inc. exists to help change the lives of prisoners' children and to break the vicious cycle of incarceration.  We help them rise above their circumstances, teach them to become leaders and provide a life of hope through Christian programming and a fun environment.

Jackson Healthcare Charities participates in the interns4tomorrow program.  The program connects our former campers with companies throughout the Atlanta-area. Jackson Healthcare coordinates and financially backs numerous medical mission brigades each year. In an effort to support and manage the overwhelming interest in international medical missions, Jackson has developed a free site, www.medicalmissions.org, which provides any charitable organization, physicians, nurses and rehabilitation specialists the ability to communicate their needs, available times and requirements in one central location.

Mission Predisan is a Christian healthcare system, serving both the people of Catacamas, Honduras and 49 nearby rural areas of eastern Honduras. Founded in 1986, Mission Predisan consists of nine facilities staffed by more than 75 employees, who collectively provide nearly 40,000 patient contacts annually. Services of Mission Predisan include: family practice medicine, outpatient surgery, inpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation, physical therapy, dental care, ophthalmology, radiology, pathology and childhood immunizations. In addition to medical care, Mission Predisan holistically reaches out to the communities it serves by offering scholarship programs, workforce training, community water systems and sanitation projects, school health programs, spiritual care and counseling, community leadership training and reforestation projects. Jackson Healthcare has funded several of Mission Predisan's recent brigades and plans to participate in upcoming trips. By supporting these brigades, Jackson and its companies are providing physicians, therapists and nurses the opportunity to combine their medical skills with an expression of their individual faith.

The Scott Rigsby Foundation is a not-for-profit organization, dedicated to inspire, inform and enable physically challenged individuals with loss of limb or mobility, to an active lifestyle. Through research, partnerships and service, the primary objectives of the Scott Rigsby Foundation include: influencing physically challenged individuals to pursue an active lifestyle, helping challenged athletes benefit from advances in technology, increasing resources for orthopedic and prosthetic community support systems worldwide and expanding support for the athletic endeavors of our wounded service men and women.
